Fabulous place with decent prices. Bring cash. No cards taken but for real, support LOCAL jewelry. Oh also there are tumbled stones for sale (and larger rocks and crystals) and incense for sale. Please be nice to the owner. In fact, simply be nice to anyone you encounter, especially this time of year.

great jewelry at great prices !! i have been shopping here for 20 years now , and all of my friends and relatives are glad ! i get sooooo much credit for finding items here !! sam is intelligent , knowledgeable , and always helpful ! deserves 6 1/2 stars out of five !!

Been my jeweler for over 20 years when Sam Vacca had three previous locations in the Oregon District. But her attention to detail and advising her patrons on what is repairable and what is not. Most of all Sam's ethics are above cheating her customer's just to make a buck. Honesty always win out and therefore equate for long lasting customers as well as life long friends. Bobby Allen

I am a long term and loyal customer. The items offered are high quality at a fair price. The owner is a delight to speak with and I always look forward to a day trip from Cincy to Dayton to hang out, see the sights, do some shopping and spend time at Sterling Studio :)

I took a ring here for repair because it had sentimental value more so than monetary value. The shop owner explained to me that the cost to repair it and do what I needed her to do, may exceed the cost of the actual ring by several times. While I appreciated her honesty and candor I insisted that she repair it and she did a fabulous job. She also kept the cost right at the quote that she gave me in spite of the fact that it should have probably cost more. She also has a really fine selection of silver rings pendants and chains as well as different kinds of mineral stones. I am definitely going to be a return customer.

Sam is such a wonderful and talented artist. Her customer service is specially taylored to your needs. The quality of the products are phenomenal and unique. This shop is a must visit for the next time someone special or yourself is in need of a gift.

I was sad to learn she is no longer on Jefferson in the art building. Her voicemail message says she will take custom orders after the first of the year. Since that is what I'm interested in, I don't recall the other information related to any sales between now and then, but that is in the voicemail. She's done work for me before and I was very happy with it.
